Help Support Liberian Pastors!
Dear True Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ,
In lands like the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom, the Lord has graciously given so much to us. It certainly is NOT because we deserve it and others do not. However, with those blessings come responsibilities.
Imagine living in a country where the basic necessities we enjoy are not taken for granted, they are non-existent! I have visited Liberia and seen firsthand the devastation of 15 years of civil war that completely destroyed the infrastructure of this West African country founded by freed slaves.
Pastors and their families struggle to survive in a land destroyed physically, emotionally, and economically. It is also spiritually dark with the forces of evil that do not desire the truth of the Holy Bible to be taught. Many pastors, their families and congregations have suffered in ways too difficult to write about.
It is said EVERY family in Liberia was touched by death, murder or disease, rape and other sexually related atrocities, and loss of personal property. Churches were not exempt. I have seen the aftermath of buildings which once had electricity that are now no more than cinderblock walls with huge bullet and rocket holes in them. There is NO electricity and running water is almost non-existent but a small handful of hours each week.

Ministering to their people and reaching the lost, Liberian pastors cannot stand in long lines for 4-5 hours per day in order to get a job paying $2 or $3 USD per day. It will take the support of God’s people here in the West who have been blessed with more than we need.
Please pray about being a part of this vital ministry in Liberia, even if only a small amount. The Contact Us page contains my details for financial support information. I am privileged to serve as a Partner and International Consultant for VCP. There are a couple of ways available to send much needed funds to our Liberian brothers and their families.
My work for VCP is completely voluntary, and all funds received go directly to the leadership in West Africa. Our church, Grace Baptist Church of Dayton, NV, is thankful and honoured to be a part of the church planting efforts in Liberia.
Striving for the advancement of His Kingdom,
